This took me less than 10 minutes to make, blanching included. I love the colors and it was very good! I wish raw fish was cheaper.

Handful of mixed greens
Handful of green beans, blanched
1-2 oz. fresh tuna, cut into sashimi pieces
2 TB olive oil
2 TB salted capers, rinsed
1 TB finely grated lemon zest

Ahi Tuna Tartare with Avocado
Ok, I’m not a professional chef and I don’t have special instruments to make my food look pretty. My adaptation of the following doesn’t look nice but it was so tasty! I also made it with Atlantic salmon. I made the tartare with equal parts of fish and avocado.

Sesame Ahi Tuna with Asparagus
Very easy and quick. I had this right before going to my MCAT class!

Ingredients:
1 ahi tuna steak
white and black sesame seeds
olive oil
3 TB soy sauce
3 TB rice vinegar
3 TB sake
1 TB brown sugar
Instructions:
Pat dry the tuna
Pour olive oil into a bowl and place sesame seeds inside
Coat the tuna with sesame seeds

I’ve been looking forward to today since last Sunday. I’ve had 4 exams this past week, MCAT classes, and I have a practice MCAT exam tomorrow. So I’ve been really tired and going out to eat a lot. I barely cooked at home during this past week; I had dinner at home on Wednesday night.
