Cheesy Polenta with Shrimp
I had some leftover corn meal from the ugly creamy polenta dish last time and I found another recipe that involved polenta and shrimp. I already loved the taste of it when it was still cooking.
I love it. It’s so delicious and it’s not too heavy either with all the cheese, corn meal, and milk. [...]

I never really liked lobster because it looks like a giant shrimp and for $8, I can only eat 1 lobster tail but for $8, I can eat 32 shrimp. Quantity isn’t just the only reason. In restaurants in Hong Kong, they always cook it with spaghetti and cheese or in a simple garlic sauce. [...]

Creamy Spicy Baked Scallops
I had 12 scallops remaining in my freezer so I decided to make this for dinner. This recipe has been bookmarked for 4 months now. I am emptying out my fridge for my pizza phase so I’m trying to make simple things for the food in my fridge and freezer.

Food I Had in the Past 24 Hours
Recipe can be found here. I ran out of dried shrimp so there isn’t that in there and I used red chili pepper flakes instead of whole dried peppers.

After the shrimp bisque, I’ve been dying to use my blender for another bisque. Crab meat is expensive and so is lobster so I settled for shrimp again. But I bought a pound of prawns to use instead and some cherrystone clams.

Ingredients:
4 large cloves garlic, roasted
3 TB olive oil

Seafood Market? In Austin? YAY!
I went to Whole Foods Thanksgiving Feast sample event. There were way too many people there and the lines were ridiculously long. I did not see regular Whole Foods shoppers there… there were some people who did not belong… like ginormous people… ugh. I think the best “food” I had was the mushroom sage gravy. [...]
